The Proclaim of International Design Competition
for Crystal Island
水晶島位于深圳市中心區(qū)的核心位置，不久將成為整個(gè)中心區(qū)的坐標(biāo)，也是中心區(qū)福田站交通樞紐的轉(zhuǎn)換空間及中軸線南北片區(qū)人行連接的重要節(jié)點(diǎn)。此外，水晶島作為公共活動(dòng)中心也將承擔(dān)未來(lái)城市門戶地區(qū)重要展示功能。水晶島的建設(shè)將成為中心區(qū)中軸線公共空間系統(tǒng)的點(diǎn)睛之筆。規(guī)劃研究范圍約45公頃，設(shè)計(jì)范圍約10公頃。
The site of the proposed Crystal Island project is located at the core of central (CBD) ShenZhen. The building will become one of the most important landmarks for the area in the future. The site is also an important public transport interchange point connecting FuTian Station in the central area and a key junction of the local pedestrian route linking the south and north areas beside the urban central axis. In addition, Crystal Island is planned to be a key public activity centre and play a role as an urban gateway which will have a significant function of expressing the city’s image. Crystal Island will be the focal point of the open space system along central axis in the CBD. Planning research area is 45 hectares, design range is 10 hectares.
為了形成高質(zhì)量的城市空間以及與中心區(qū)軌道交通設(shè)施建設(shè)配合，受深圳市政府委托，深圳市規(guī)劃局負(fù)責(zé)組織開展水晶島規(guī)劃設(shè)計(jì)方案國(guó)際競(jìng)賽活動(dòng)。活動(dòng)主要對(duì)水晶島的空間形象、地下空間設(shè)計(jì)、交通組織、功能布局內(nèi)容的進(jìn)行設(shè)計(jì)競(jìng)賽。
In order to create high quality urban space that can successfully integrate the existing tram system, Shenzhen Planning Bureau, consigned by the local government, will organize an international design competition for the Crystal Island. The main focuses of this competition will include the following key points:
• The spatial image of Crystal Island
• The design of its underground space,
• The organization of local movements, and
• The arrangement of its function structure
本次國(guó)際競(jìng)賽擬在全球范圍展開，公開面向全球報(bào)名，獨(dú)立設(shè)計(jì)機(jī)構(gòu)、設(shè)計(jì)聯(lián)合體、個(gè)人均可報(bào)名參加；通過資格預(yù)審（富有地下空間規(guī)劃設(shè)計(jì)能力和實(shí)踐經(jīng)驗(yàn)的優(yōu)先）確定8家主要應(yīng)征設(shè)計(jì)機(jī)構(gòu)或聯(lián)合體并發(fā)出正式邀請(qǐng)函（用聯(lián)合體名義參賽的設(shè)計(jì)單位以排名在前的為主要設(shè)計(jì)單位）；未獲邀請(qǐng)的設(shè)計(jì)機(jī)構(gòu)或個(gè)人同樣歡迎參加競(jìng)賽。對(duì)于符合成果要求的自愿參賽方案將在評(píng)審中一視同仁。
競(jìng)賽根據(jù)專家評(píng)審評(píng)出一等獎(jiǎng)，二等獎(jiǎng)，三等獎(jiǎng)各1名，其中一等獎(jiǎng)獎(jiǎng)金80萬(wàn)元人民幣；二等獎(jiǎng)獎(jiǎng)金55萬(wàn)元人民幣；三等獎(jiǎng)獎(jiǎng)金35萬(wàn)元人民幣。對(duì)于受邀的8家主要咨詢單位，凡提交的設(shè)計(jì)成果符合咨詢成果要求的，均可獲得20萬(wàn)元人民幣的設(shè)計(jì)成本費(fèi)作為工作補(bǔ)償。
This international competition is open to all independent design organizations, consortiums and individuals. Participants with rich experience in underground space design especially with a strong portfolio of completed works will be considered first. After assessing the experience of all participants, eight candidates will be short listed and invited to participate the competition with a written confirmation (Design consortiums will be assessed mainly according to the experience of the leading consultant). However, organizations or individuals not short listed are still welcomed to join the competition. All qualified competitors will be equally treated in follow process.
The competition sets a first, a second and a third prize. The first prize will receive an award of no less than 800,000 RMB. The second prize will receive an award of no less than 550,000 RMB, and the third prize will receive an award of no less than 350,000 RMB. For each of the 8 invited candidates will receive a basic payment of no less than 200,000 RMB, under the condition of a successful submission of the design work which met the standard set up in the Requirements for the Outcomes for Consolation.
有意向參與本次國(guó)際競(jìng)賽活動(dòng)的設(shè)計(jì)機(jī)構(gòu)，請(qǐng)?zhí)顚憟?bào)名表和資格預(yù)審申請(qǐng)表，于2009年2月12日下午17時(shí)之前，以Email或傳真的方式告知我們，并同時(shí)將報(bào)名表、資格預(yù)審申請(qǐng)表和公司介紹的正本通過特快專遞的形式，于2009年2月12日下午17時(shí)之前（以郵戳為準(zhǔn)）發(fā)給我們，作為正式的報(bào)名確認(rèn)。在收到文件后，我方將于2009年2月19日前確定8家入選設(shè)計(jì)機(jī)構(gòu)。
The design groups who are interested to participate this competition please fill in the application form and pre-qualify auditing table attached, and email or fax to us before 17:00, Feb. 12th, 2009. At the same time, please send the filled application form and pre-qualify auditing table together with a brief company introduction to us by EMS before the above deadline (the time will be determined by the postal stamp). After receiving the documents, we will inform you the selection result before 2009-02-19.
